Our school is an environment which stimulates, maintains and develops an enquiring mind; we expose our pupils to reading material whenever possible.  Restaurant Reads allows us to encourage reading at lunchtime.  Our pupils are able to sit and read whilst enjoying their snacks and meals in the hall.  There are news articles, stories, facts and information about inspirational people and the world around them displayed on the tables.  This helps our pupils to improve their vocabulary and general knowledge.

The school librarian, the literacy coordinator and the Pupil Literacy Leads help to make this happen.
