All pupils took part in our first Enrichment Day of the year in October. For our Year 7 pupils, this centered around personal hygiene and well-being. These sessions were led by a small group of dedicated staff, who enlisted support from volunteers within the
community.
Our Year 8 and Year 9 pupils worked in mixed groups to complete
activities focused on languages. Pupils were tasked with designing a café, using their MFL language to pitch their business idea and produce promotional materials, such as menus. The pupils were enthusiastic and engaged, and they very much enjoyed the element of competition.
Our Year 10 pupils spent the day completing workshops with ‘Talk the Talk’. This is a charity which provides a range of practical workshops to develop speaking skills, delivered to our girls by professional
experts.
