All Year 7 pupils take part in the Bookbuzz reading programme which is designed to inspire a love of reading.  We give our pupils the opportunity to choose their own book to take home and keep from a list of 17 titles. These books are all carefully selected by a panel of experts to ensure quality, suitability and to encourage reading for pleasure. The aim is to encourage reading via book ownership. Pupils also have the chance to swap their books with other pupils should they wish later in the year. All the books are also available in the library for pupils to borrow.
