Wider Reading: Computer Science

The Computer Science staff, at Preston Muslim Girls High School, provide opportunities to develop a love of learning through reading during Computer Science lessons.  Staff pass on their love for the subject through developing meaningful and interesting lessons.  Reading is aimed at developing the theoretical side and encouraging pupils to keep up to date by reading stories from the real world.

Pupils are expected to read whilst they are waiting in lessons or at any other relevant time.  Below are some examples of what pupils read during their Computer Science lessons:

Coding Club Python Basics – Leve1 (Chris Roffey)

Coding Club Python Building Big Apps – Level 3 (Chris Roffey)

PGONLINE Learning to Program in Visual Basic (S Langfield)
