This September, we had the pleasure of welcoming our first full cohort of 280+ girl scouts at the annual investiture assembly. It was a historic moment as these young scouts, brimming with enthusiasm and determination, took the Girl Scouts Promise, pledging to uphold the values of honesty, kindness, and service. Parents, teachers, and fellow students gathered to witness this inspiring occasion, highlighting the strong sense of community and support that defines PMGHS.
As the girls recited the Girl Scouts Promise, a sense of unity and purpose filled the hall. Their voices echoed with determination and hope, symbolizing the beginning of a transformative experience. The investiture assembly marked not only a milestone for our young girl scouts but also a promise of growth, friendship, and leadership.
The Scouts oath is as follows: “In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent & the Most Merciful. I promise that I will do my best. To do my duty first to Allah, Then to the King and Country in which I live, To help other people, And to keep the Scouts Law.”
