Sri Lankan Orphans Sponsorship Programme

“Myself and the caretaker of an orphan will be in Paradise like this,” and he held his two fingers together (Hadeeth, Sahih Bukhari).

All children are entitled to basic rights relating to health, education, nutrition and protection. Yet each year, millions are subjected to abuse and even more are orphaned due to war, famine, HIV/Aids, poverty and natural disasters. We as PMGHS want to recognise and stretch out our hands for our brothers and sisters.

We have again launched our fundraising commitment for the Sri Lankan Orphans for the fifth year running, with each form supporting a named orphan. We now have a total of 18 orphans that we sponsor Alhamd…, and the pupils’ donations have made a huge difference.
