On Monday 25 April some of our Year 9 students and staff attended a two day residential at Towerwood in Windermere . Throughout the 2 days students made canoe rafts and took part in Ghyll scrambling at Stickle Ghyll in Langdale village. Ghyll Scrambling is an invigorating and challenging activity, whereby students had to ascent on a route along a mountain river.
The students enjoyed both activities immensely, they worked in teams and put into practice their communication and collaboration skills. No-one escaped getting wet on both activities and overall it was a memorable two days for all who attended.
Thank you to Towerwood for providing PMGHS students and staff with such an exciting and enjoyable experience.
