Students at Preston Muslim Girl’s High School are celebrating outstanding GCSE results.
The school’s results have risen with 87% of students gaining 5 GCSE passes or more across all subjects at A*- C, including passes in English and Mathematics. Impressively 100% of students obtained A* – C grades in English Language, English Literature and Food Technology; with many other subjects achieving 90% or more A* – C grades. In Urdu and English over half of all the students sitting the exam gained an A or A* grade. Well done to them all!

The highest achieving pupil was Maryam Patel who achieved 12 A*s
Tahreem Haq, the school’s Head Girl, who achieved top grades in all of her 11 GCSE’s with 7 A* and 4 grade As
Fatimah Zahra Patel who achieved 3A*s and 9 grade As

The high expectations that the school has for all of its students is recognised nationally as a DfE ‘Top 100 School’ for 2 years running.
