The school will be closed from Friday 20 March as a precaution due to COVID 19 (Coronavirus) until further notice.

Following advice from the government, a decision has been made to take the precautionary decision to close the school from Friday 20 March until further notice. “The school will keep parents and pupils updated throughout this period via the website, ParentMail, Classcharts, twitter and all other school channels.

At this time of national crisis we are doing our best to ensure some continuity of learning. I know that you appreciate the exceptional circumstances that we all find ourselves in and that, with the support of the Almighty, we will find a way through this.

Key information provided below to support your child’s learning

Please note – our main source of communication with pupils will be through Classcharts, the software that we use to set homework. We will also be providing regular face-to-face teaching for pupils using Microsoft Teams. Pupils will be provided with a modified timetabled that will detail when these sessions will take place.

Timetable for Microsoft teams during Covid – 19 closure:

The purpose of this timetable is to continue Teaching and Learning and allow pupils to have interaction with their teachers via Microsoft Teams.

Key Stage 3 (years 7 & 8) will have this interaction once a fortnight and Key Stage 4 (years 9, 10 & 11) will have the interaction once a week.
