Year 8 pupils took part in the Energy Quest Workshop as part of Stem activity. The Workshop is designed to help young people to understand the ubiquitous role of engineering in our everyday lives as well as exploring if this may be a career choice for our pupils. The workshop began by asking pupils to consider what they think of when they hear the word engineering. The Energy Quest Workshops are designed to help our young people to think like an engineer. The pupils enjoyed various activities including designing, building and testing their own electric car suggesting improvements along the way. They also completed “Energise Your Future” questions to help them discover what kind of engineers they could become.
