‘Inspiring our young learners to become the Engineers and Scientists of tomorrow’
We have given the opportunity to our year 9 computer science class to put their creativity, problem solving and STEM skills to the test which will take place over a number of lessons – they could win individual student prizes and up to £5,000 to super-size STEM teaching at our school. Not only this, but they’ll also get a funded VIP STEM experience.
The bright Ideas Challenge is a competition organised by Shell International Limited asking participants to imagine creative solutions to energy challenges faced by future cities. Through the Bright Ideas Challenge we hope to inspire young people about the positive role science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) skills can play in society, and to encourage them to become the engineers and scientists of tomorrow.
We wish pupils across all schools participating in the bright ideas challenge the very best.
